Todd’s calling to the world of food and wine began early; his ventures to “inspect” the kitchen promptly getting him returned to the dining room atop the shoulders of chefs. What began as a five year-old’s curiosity, quickly became a passion that continued through high school where he traveled to Italy on the Experiment in International Living. Todd spent a semester abroad in Florence while studying International Business at Cornell University, where he honed his wine expertise, learning from and working along side some of Italy’s finest winemakers. After graduating, Todd went directly into the wine business, working for three decades in the import, wholesale, and retail wine trade. Todd has been recognized by the national media, including Fortune, Black Enterprise, CNN, USA Today, and several other books and publications. Todd lives in San Diego where he spends his free time with his twin boys, practicing yoga, following Formula 1 racing, coaching high school wrestling, and cooking.
